Dr. Mark Malterud has been serving the Saint Paul, MN area as a general dentist for over 35 years. Dr.Malterud has a minimally invasive dental philosophy; he believes in respecting the integrity of his patient’s natural teeth as he improves their health and their smiles. He is passionate about conservative, minimally invasive dentistry that preserves healthy teeth. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Minnesota at Duluth. He then obtained his DDS from the University of Minnesota. He is committed to continuing his postgraduate education, and participates in countless hours of continuing dental education each year. He also instructs other dentists, nationally and internationally, on minimally invasive aesthetic restorations.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Minnesota Dental Association. Dr. Malterud has been a Board Member of the Academy of General Dentistry and a founding member of the Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry. He is also a Fellow in The American College of Dentists and the Academy of Dentistry International and he consults with various dental manufacturers on their products to continually improve the quality of dental products available to his patients.
