“Recommendation Marketing: Optimizing Your Online Presence”
Dr. Ritter’s presentation covers Recommendation Marketing as well as other areas of digital use and optimizing your digital presence. These presentations are for dentists and portions of the presentation are for team members. What makes this lecture different is that we cover areas that are not well understood by dentists when it comes to online presence or social media. After speaking to many Study Clubs, many dentists are clinically adept and not quite sure how to market or promote their practice. The traditional methods of marketing are dying. From print to radio, and tv, these media are less important. So how does one get on the first page of Google? I cover every step and help clarify the misconceptions of Social Media. Recommendation coming from existing patients that have been seen and treated by yourself are the most important types of referrals. Years ago, this was called word of mouth. It’s the same, only leveraging the Social Media I-platforms to spread the information. I call this Recommendation Marketing because; truly that’s what it is in a different form.
Robert G. Ritter D.M.D., has a practice that focuses on implant and adhesive esthetic dentistry. He promotes esthetic dentistry as part of his mainstream dental care. He was raised in Palm Beach County and now resides in Palm Beach Gardens.
Dr. Ritter received his dental degree from The Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in 1994. He is Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor, Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry, Dental Research Administration at Tufts School Of Dental Medicine. He is an Adjunct Faculty Clinical Professor Prosthodontics, Nova Southeastern college of Dental Medicine.
He is a member of The American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and The American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. He is a member of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics and the American Society for Color and Appearance Dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as The American Dental Association. In addition he is a board member and Past President of The Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is a member of the Seaside Study Club, a component of the Seattle Study Club. He is a member of the International Association of Dental Researchers. Dr. Ritter is both a Kois Center graduate and a Spear Education graduate.
Dr. Ritter is on the editorial board of Inside Dentistry and The Journal of The Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has published many articles on adhesive and cosmetic dentistry in several publications, including PPAD, Signature, Spectrum, Dentistry Today, DPR, Contemporary Esthetics, and Inside Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Ritter is an Editorial Board member of REALITY, a publication to keep dentists up-to-date with advances in the products, techniques and research of esthetic dentistry. He is also a product consultant to numerous dental manufacturers. He lectures over 30 times a year nationally as well as internationally on cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, new materials, Recommendation Marketing/Social Media presence and digital technologies in and for the modern dental office.
Dr. Ritter and his wife Isabelle have a daughter Olivia and enjoy golf, tennis, the beach, water sports, and movies and travel.
“MASTER-ing Your Sixth Sense: Understanding the Art of Persuasion, Body Language, and Human Decision Making for Improved Treatment Acceptance”
– Provide the participants with the tools necessary to “see” what others do not in everyday communication- “The Sixth Sense”
– Provide participants the simple understanding of “Body Language” cues which allow for better communication.
– Provide insight into both conscious and sub-conscious decision making and how that effects treatment acceptance.
– Provide an understanding of the Art of Persuasion and its effect on decision making.
– Provide insight into hospitality and “Disney” style customer service elements that lead to dynamic changes.
During this session Dr Ramsey will cover the elements of his M.A.S.T.E.R. program. This trademarked concept will highlight specific elements of both verbal and non-verbal communication. The M.A.S.T.E.R. program encompasses the concepts of Human Decision Making, Body Language, and the Art of Persuasion. With the understanding of these elements, the doctor and team members will begin to see what many others do not in everyday communication. This approach ultimately leads to increased case acceptance and improved interpersonal relationships.

Christopher D. Ramsey, DMD was raised and currently practices in Jupiter Florida. His practice focuses on comprehensive esthetic and restorative dentistry. Dr Ramsey received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia Pennsylvania in 1999.
Dr. Ramsey is a member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (AAED), a member of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics (ASDA), and an Accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). He is a Graduate of the Kois Center in Seattle Washington and also an Alumnus of the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne Florida. Dr. Ramsey is on the editorial review boards for the AACD Journal and the Journal of Implant and Restorative Dentistry. He has published numerous articles on customer service related topics, adhesive technology, Implant therapy, scanning technology and cosmetic dentistry in several publications such as Journal of Implant and Restorative Dentistry, Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, PPAD, Dentistry Today, Contemporary Esthetics, Signature, and Dental Products Report. Dr Ramsey is a product consultant for The Dental Advisor, and to numerous dental manufacturers, which allows for greater insight in to the newer materials and techniques. He also had the unique opportunity over the last decade to lecture throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Spain, France, and Japan. Lecture topics have focused on the latest techniques, materials, technology and protocols needed to create a successful esthetic based practices.
Dr Ramsey is called upon to teach the latest techniques in Body Language and Non-verbal communication and what they mean to the success of our practices.
Dr. Ramsey takes over 200 hours of continuing education a year to stay on the cutting edge of cosmetic dentistry, which is a rapidly changing profession. He is the past President of The Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
